A Long & Storied History

Yaupon has been consumed for its energizing properties and healthy benefits for hundreds of years: by Native Americans, settlers, and contemporary fans.

However, some evidence suggests that the drink was deliberately suppressed throughout the 1700s and 1800s by powerful European tea traders afraid of competition.

We're helping to bring it back.
